I heard the junior prom has to pay 70 dollars for tickets , thats outragous. I talked to quite a few people who arent going because of this horrendous amount, does anyone know why they're so high? and how maybe future classes can prevent the sam kind of atrocity being applicated to their proms?

I have to totally agree with you on the fact that our class is lazy. We've never shown any initiative, except the time that we all slammed our books at the same time. But that's for a different thread.
I'm pretty sure that West Boylston charges around $60 dollars for their prom tickets, and they're a pretty active class, too. They shouldn't have had any trouble raising money for their prom. Maybe their proms just cost more? I'd imagine that it would cost more to have a prom if it wasn't held in the parking lot of a WalMart.
Didn't classes in past years used to have some kind of a discount for prom? I'm pretty sure that they had events or fundraisers or something, and if you participated in them they'd knock $10 or $20 dollars off of your ticket price. Does anybody else remember that, or is that just another case of "If I ruled the world (imagine that)"?
