I don't know if anybody is checking this forum anymore. Anyways......
We're now going to be into July. We don't have a principal, which means that we don't have a vice principal. We also don't have a curriculum director, or whatever it's called. Chances are that at the beginning of next year, things are going to be incredibly disorganized, most likely until winter. Assuming that we have a principal and/or vice principal, one of two scenarios is going to play out: 1. They are going to want to get a feel for the school and will try and get used to it before asserting any real authority. 2. They are going to want to come in and assert their authority right away, to prove who's in charge.
So my question for all of you is which one you'd prefer. When we were touring around the principal and vice principal candidates, everybody said that they thought we needed more accountability. Were we telling the candidates what they wanted to hear?
